As part of normal procedures, Windows is giving computers a sensor configuration update on July 19 at 09.30 am (IST). As the screens of the computers that downloaded it changed to blue (blue screen of death), the crowd strike realised the danger and corrected the error at 10.57 am (IST) and gave a new update. However, in this one and a half hours, the computers that downloaded it thinking it was a security update were in crisis.
Computers using the operating system, which is on a version of Windows from 7.11 onwards, which runs on the Falcon sensor, have been damaged. Crowd Strike reiterates that there is no outside interference or cyber attacks behind this crisis.
